2026 Queensland Titles

Location: Kalbar Showgrounds

Queensland Titles is the final chance to qualify for the 2026 Australian Titles.

This event is open to all competitors holding a current yearly AWPA membership, (Novice entrants may pay for a day membership) and who comply with the rules and regulations of the AWPA. Each competitor is entitled to only enter the most appropriate category. Competing at the 2026 AWPA Queensland Titles will allow whipcrackers to qualify for the 2026 AWPA Australian Whipcracking Championships held at the Royal Queensland Show EKKA in August 2026 (except for novice).

 

The 99th annual Kalbar Show is on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June 2026

Gate entry to the 2026 Show will be FREE!

The 2026 Queensland Titles will be held in conjunction with the Kalbar Agricultural Show held at Kalbar QLD. Proud sponsors or this event are Clydesdale Spectacular Committee, Packer Leather, Jenny & Andrew Wooler

2026 Australian Titles

Date: Sunday 16th of August 2026
Location: RNA Brisbane Showgrounds (AAM Woodchop Arena)
Entries Close: Monday 27th of July 2026

This event is open to all competitors who have competed in an AWPA State title, hold a current yearly AWPA membership, and who comply with the rules and regulations of the AWPA. Each competitor is entitled to only enter the most appropriate category.

The 2026 AWPA Australian Titles will be held in conjunction with the Royal Queensland Show the EKKA held at Brisbane RNA Showgrounds. This event is proudly sponsored and presented by R.M Williams and Packer Leather.

2026 Riverina Whipcracking Challenge

Location: Deniliquin Festival Site Conargo Rd

2026 Tasmanian Titles

Date: Saturday 21st of November 2026
Location: Deloraine Show Grounds
Entries Close: Saturday 7th of November 2026
Tasmaina Titles is one of the first chances to qualify for the 2027 Australian Titles.

 

This event is open to all competitors holding a current yearly AWPA membership, (Novice entrants may pay for a day membership) and who comply with the rules and regulations of the AWPA. Each competitor is entitled to only enter the most appropriate category. Competing at the 2026 AWPA Tasmanian Titles will allow whipcrackers to qualify for the 2027 AWPA Australian Whipcracking Championships held at the Royal Queensland Show EKKA in August 2027 (except for novice).

The AWPA was formed in March 1992 on the banks of the Ovens River in Victoria and is going from strength to strength.
